Re: Stones Cottage.
Today is my first night of actual performances.. I'm really nervous. I hope I can kick these butterflies before they kick me.

Bah! Don't worry. You'll do great, woman!
I kind of wish I could be there to see it, though. >_<

Haha, I'd rather hijack one. It sounds more badass and less....pirat-y?
'Cuz, darlin', I ain't a pirate, but I'm plenty badass.

Okay my friend, we're all in suspense...how was your first night? Remember all your parts? Get lost backstage? (me impatient)

Re: Stones Cottage.
Ok Jillie-B I will give a run down of the night.
First I had bad nerves all day long, lunch made me sick, so I learned and didn't eat anything from 2:30 on. (Which actually wasn't as bad as it sounds considering my tummy was full of butterflys anyway)
So I got in early, did my own make-up (I'm better then the people they have) while my hair was did, and I put on really long fake eye lashes.. crazy!! Anyway I spent most of my waiting time outside in the cool air, it calmed me downish.
Then when I had to be inside I popped in my ear buds and listend to happy music and danced backstage until I had to go out and help the audience know who to whistle for. (they did this with all the people that get reactions ie: the villain gets boo'd the Hero gets hurrayed and the Heroine gets Awe'd) That was a little nerve racking but I did it, and after that I felt better.
When I first come out I get "roughed up" by the Villains buddy, (its to make the hero think I was attacked by brutes!!!) I have my extensions in and I had an idea that I would just PLACE a piece on my hair, not attach it, so he could pull it out. lol it was pretty silly but the audience loved it.
And after that I was right at home. I even ate a carrot!!! The rest of the night was super fun and everyone did really well. The house was FULL! I had my Isaac Grandparents there and an uncle, and my two brothers came as well as the hubby. Unfortunatly he didn't bring the camera!! I was disappointed but theres still three other shows.
Hopefully tonight I wont be as nervous, and maybe I can eat some of the yumminess that is provided for us.

Re: Stones Cottage.
Wonderful AMber!!! It normally only take a few minutes on stage before all your worries go away. Especially in a play that's meant to be fun.
So glad that so much of your family made it opening night. Make sure hubby comes again and takes the camera this time! Need to see pictures until I can watch it.
Good luck again tonight, though you now know you don't really need it.
(BTW thanks for saving our argument. I think yours totally outdid his side!)

Re: Stones Cottage.
(I completely agree )
Ya, I think I said it best last night: Once I realized the audience is actually out there cheering for me and wanting me to come out and do ANYTHING (practically), and not there to judge my abilities, it's a lot easier.
I will make sure theres pictures. There are some on the blog btw, just to tide you over, as well as a small vid of the chase scene, which I am not in. :'( But its still my favorite part of the play.

Re: Stones Cottage.
So a couple days ago, I had this dream and both you and CindySue were in it. I guess we were all living together in some random home and you were in the kitchen cooking and started to get frustrated with me cause I didn't have a mallet. Now seriously, what do you need a mallet for? But in an effort to rectify the problem, I took Als to Home Depot with me to find one and yeah, so sorry but we couldn't find one. Don't worry though, I went to Walmart yesterday and they do have them there, so if ever I have that dream again, I'll know where to get you that mallet. (Gotta love those random dreams!)

Re: Stones Cottage.
I love that random dream! And mallets are like a staple in the Biesinger kitchen. Or didn't you know that?
Speaking of random:
*I love fishes cuz there so delicious gone to go fishin, I could eat em every day and my mom says thats okay. I love the fishes cuz there so delicious gone, Goldfishin.*

Re: Stones Cottage.
That's funny. I remember a time when you didn't love fishes at all! Of course they weren't golden so I'm sure that does make a difference.
Also, how is your edit going? I'm definately going to want to read it when you get it done if possible!

Re: Stones Cottage.
One quick sec Jillie-Bean, I've gotta go get my gun... er Juliet. *runs to closet under the stairs, after rummaging for a while theres a heavy thud, and curse and she brings out a medium sized bag. Swings it laboriously over her shoulder, almost falling backwards and then walks quickly out the door*
*yells over her shoulder* I'm at Silvs if anyone comes looking.

*Enters Stonie's place*
What's this? I'm gone for a few weeks, and suddenly, people start flashing guns and swinging medium sized bags?

*runs back in quickly and begins looking in the closet again* Funny how that works huh? May that be a lesson to you
Anyway peeps, sorry I haven't been here lately the weddings are getting ugly. One bride (my sister) is trying to over shadow the other bride. Which is really rude because Kim's only been engaged a month (if that) and Brooklyn has been since decemeber, and her (brooklyns) wedding comes first! The sister isn't making herself look good in anyones eyes.
Also my crane operator/warehouse manager is leaving for the military. Friday is his last day. And guess who gets to take over his role? (not the crane)... ME!! So I've been with him learning what he's been doing. It's not as hard as it could have been because I was taking care of the warehouse before he came along, so I know most of what goes on. He's changed things, for the better, though so I need to learn his tricks. It's been COLD outside in the warehouse
Anyway I swear I'll be back only after the 2nd though.

Re: Stones Cottage.
I think I said, not, the crane. That would be scary and I'd lose the safety bonus for the entire west division. I refuse to learn the forklift. It's not in my job description, and it'd be one more thing the guys would make me do if I did learn.
Yes you heard me I'm keeping myself from learning valuable lessons. But I have a good reason.
